The villa "Les Balisiers" (top left on the map) sits on "Pointe Ferry" between the beaches "Plage de Leroux" and "Plage de petite Anse".

Downtown Deshaies is 6 km to the north and Pointe-Noire is 7 km to the south of the Villa. In our village of Ferry you will find 2 grocery stores, a pastry shop (they also do catering) and 3 restaurants.

Deshaies sits on the North East coast of the island of Basse Terre. "Côte sous le vent" or Leeward coast.

Thus it is dryer than on the Windward coast "La côte au vent"

There are numerous beaches and excellent diving sites.

From the airport expect 50 to 80 minutes by car depending on traffic.
